Peach Consultation Claude for nonprofit directors

Claude for nonprofit directors

I run a nonprofit, and I built all of our systems myself — the website, ticketing, payments, producer reports, bots that answer on WhatsApp. Not a developer, not a software company. This page answers one question: which of that can you do yourself, and what does it really cost.

1

What you have today

Ten minutes. How the organisation works right now — where the data lives, what happens in a spreadsheet, what happens by phone, and what eats most of the time. No technical terms.

2

The product spec

Twenty minutes. Together we write down what actually needs to exist — not “a website” but exactly which screens, who logs into them, and what happens when someone clicks. This is the part that decides whether the project works, and it is not technical at all.

3

A live demo

Twenty minutes. I open a screen and build a piece of your spec in front of you, in real time. Not a slide deck and not a recording — the thing itself, so you can see how long it really takes.

4

The answer

Ten minutes. What it costs per month, how long it will take you, and which parts are genuinely worth handing to someone else. And if the answer is that you can do it yourself, I say so — which is what happens most of the time.

The questions that come up every time

Can I build a nonprofit website with Claude?

Yes. A brochure site, a donation page, an events calendar, a signup form — all of these get built in a conversation now. You describe what you want in plain language, Claude writes the code, and you look at the result and ask for changes. The page you are reading was built that way.

What is Claude Code, and how do you use it?

Claude Code is the version of Claude that lives on your own machine and can read and write files, run commands and build real things — not just answer in a chat. You use it in a terminal window, and despite how that sounds, you do not need to be a developer. There is a full install guide with screenshots here, and the install itself is one line.

What platform do you build an admin system on, and what does it cost per month?

There is no single answer, and there are three families: tools that build a whole system out of a conversation, no-code tools where you assemble forms and tables, and building it yourself and hosting it for almost nothing. The realistic order of magnitude for a small nonprofit is tens of dollars a month, not thousands — one AI subscription, hosting, and a domain. On the call we go through the exact numbers for what you need, because they change with the number of users.

Can I do this myself, or is it complicated?

Most of what a nonprofit needs — yes, yourself. The hard part is not the writing, it is the decisions: what exactly to build, in what order, and what not to build. That is precisely what this call is for. The parts genuinely worth handing to someone else are few, and I will tell you which.

I am not technical at all. Is this still for me?

Especially. These tools were built so that you talk to them in ordinary language. Someone who knows their own organisation deeply — what is missing, what is annoying, what takes three hours every month — is in a better position than any outside developer.

What happens to donor and participant data?

A fair question, and one to answer before you build rather than after. There is a real difference between a tool that stores your data on its own servers and one that runs on yours, and between ordinary information and what privacy law treats as sensitive. We go through this on the call, because for a nonprofit it is not a technical detail — it is an obligation.

Why is it free?

Because I am doing this for my own organisation anyway, and what I learned along the way is worth more when it moves on. There is no pitch at the end of the call. If you walk away and build it yourself, that is the success.

What should I bring?

A computer, and a willingness to show me how you work today. No preparation needed and no document. If there is a spreadsheet or a file your organisation lives by — open it, and we will start there.

One call, one hour, no cost

I sit with you for an hour. We spec out what you actually need, I build a piece of it live on screen, and you leave with one clear answer: you need a professional, or you can do this yourself.

Hint: you can do all of it yourself.

No cost, no commitment, and no pitch at the end. I reply within a day or two.

Your details are used only to arrange the call — no mailing list, nothing passed to anyone, and you can ask me to delete them at any time.

If the form does not go through for any reason — write to me directly, it works exactly the same.
